. At University, I undertook a degree in Fashion Matketing . Most important to me when choosing to study Fashion, was the element of identity and culture and I feel this is where my interest in teaching began. Getting to know a country based on its people and the connection that can be made I feel is of great importance and also giving back to a community that allows you this opportunity. A lot of my self-led studies were guided by my own principles of learning, community and identity and creating spaces for communication and self expression to flourish and what better way to facilitate this myself by entering the world of teaching. I have taught in different capacities, mainly in my love for aerial arts, which has allowed me to know how to teach anyone of any background so they’re happy, comfortable and confident. I truly have a passion for language, culture and any form of self-expression so I feel I would be very well suited to an education role.
