Overview

FOMAS Dalian was founded in 2006 from a Greenfield in China. Nowadays, it is a wholly foreign owned enterprise. Its first ring was produced on 8th August 2008. The company is specialized in the manufacturing of seamless rolled rings. FOMAS Group, of which FOMAS Dalian is part of, has been founded by Gastone Guzzoni, an Italian Professor of Metallurgy, in 1956. At the very beginning FOMAS was established in Osnago only, a tiny city in Northern Italy, but soon it has extended its production firstly in Italy and soon around the World. Nowadays, it is a multinational company with Italian roots that performs like an international bridge to turn “cutting-edge know-how” into local industrial development. The Group manufactures forgings and seamless rolled rings, in any type of steel and non-ferrous alloys. Thanks to its continuous innovation, FOMAS Group has expanded its activity also to the production of metal powders.
