International Business Department of China Railway Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the International Business Department) was restructured from the International Business Division, East Africa Company and International Company of China Railway Construction Engineering Group. It serves as the overseas business management platform and operating entity of China Railway Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., and is affiliated to China Railway Group Limited, a Fortune Global 500 enterprise. As the main force and vanguard of China Railway Construction Engineering Group in exploring the overseas construction market, the International Business Department has always adhered to the regional development and operation philosophy for international business, which is "relying on traditional markets, exploring emerging markets, forming regional markets, and radiating surrounding markets". It fully promotes international project management and strives to build integrated operations to adapt to the development trend of the international market. After more than 50 years of market exploration, China Railway Construction Engineering Group has now grown into the largest foreign-funded contractor in the field of housing construction in Tanzania and Papua New Guinea. It has formed initially scaled regional markets in Tanzania, Algeria, Kenya, Papua New Guinea, Kazakhstan, Ghana and other countries. While deeply cultivating the existing regions, in recent years, it has increased efforts in exploring new markets. Relying on traditional markets, it has successfully developed emerging markets such as Rwanda, Zambia, Indonesia and Malaysia.
