Overview
Tongwei Solar Technology Co., Ltd., leveraging its strong and comprehensive upstream industrial chain reserves, ventured into the module business in 2013 and established a high-efficiency module R&D department in 2016, gradually beginning its journey in module process R&D. After more than a decade of significant investment and deep cultivation in technology R&D, the company has developed a module product matrix with Tongwei’s unique characteristics, covering a wide range of market differentiation needs. These products are widely used in various "photovoltaic+" scenarios, including residential rooftops, commercial and industrial distributed, and centralized large-scale power stations, meeting the growing global demand for clean energy. In the second half of 2022, the company accelerated its module business layout. With years of accumulation in technology and market, and the synergistic advantages of upstream high-purity silicon and solar cells, Tongwei has established a competitive and scalable module business system. The company serves major domestic central state-owned power generation groups and clients in over 40 countries and regions overseas. In 2023, Tongwei successfully ranked among the top five globally in module shipments (according to PV InfoLink, an authoritative photovoltaic industry analysis agency). The production bases in Hefei, Yancheng, Jintang, and Nantong have a current capacity of 63GW, with the Shuangliu base planned and expected to be operational by 2025.
