We are pleased you are considering LSA for your child's preschool experience. At LSA we believe the early childhood years are amazing, foundational years for every child; and thus, must be shaped by solid learning opportunities, positive character development and creatively celebrating every child's unique strengths. LSA's "mission" as an International, bilingual preschool emphasizes the importance of developing both head and heart. Our written mission statement includes the following 5 values: teaching our children to make positive, productive choices; encouraging our children that there are no "mistakes" but rather grand opportunities for learning and growth; to inspire our children to develop a love for life and a joyful spirit; to offer our quality education to families from varying economic situations; and finally, to deliver the most effective, progressive educational practices available. We are very proud of LSA's art-based approach to teaching; this emphasis on creativity shapes our strong programs in English literacy, phonics, math, and Chinese. In addition cooking, music, and opportunities for physical education are a regular part of our weekly schedule.
