Qingyuan Shengxing Chinese and English School is blessed with convenient transportation by being located next to the Qingyuan Henghe Exit of the Guangzhou-Qingyuan Expressway, adjacent to the Qingyuan Avenue and the Guangzhou-Qingyuan LRT General station. Built in the city, but hidden in the woods, there is no shop, factory, internet cafe, game hall or other hustle and bustle in the surrounding area, so the students can stay away from all the distractions and study in peace. Our school has over 30,000 ㎡ of sports space. With 39 standard basketball courts, students have plenty of room to move around for physical and mental health. It is very rare for a primary or secondary school to have so many playgrounds, including a sports zone with 20 basketball courts. Since 2007, when the students of the school first took the college entrance exam, the rates of gaining the accesses to the key universities and to the universities for the bachelor’s degrees have been among the best in the city, and the rate of gaining the access to the key universities had ranked the top among other schools for “seven consecutive years ”, with the rate of 30.18% in 2016, 32.71% in 2017 and 39.5% in 2018. In 2019, the rate of students reaching high scores in the college entrance exam was 40.21% and that of students passing the exam for the universities was 92.58%. All previous years' secondary school exam results have been among the best in the city, and 109 students have acquired the highest scores in single subject among all other students in the city. Students participated in the Olympiads of different subjects, winning 498 times national awards and 120 times national first prizes. We also have good students like Kuang Kaiying and Pan Xujin, who studied in Beijing University, Guo Yinyan studying in the Ohio University of United States and Qiu Yuchen in the University of Science and Technology of China.
