Job Responsibilities

Position Overview: The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies across global markets, with a particular focus on Germany, France, and the United States. This role involves overseeing the management and growth of the company's social media presence, creating engaging content, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate is fluent in both Mandarin and English, possesses excellent communication skills, is highly independent, and excels in project management. Experience in video production, team management, and cultural awareness is preferred. This position reports to the Marketing Communications Lead and is based in Shenzhen, China. Key Responsibilities: 1. Social Media Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the company's brand objectives and target markets. Plan, create, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to optimize content and campaigns for maximum reach and engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media initiatives align with broader marketing and communication strategies. Stay up-to-date with emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance the company's social media presence. 2. Content Creation and Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product teams, marketing, and design to create compelling, high-quality written, visual, and video content that resonates with the company 's target audience. Develop and maintain a content calendar, scheduling posts and campaigns to ensure timely and consistent delivery of content. Manage user-generated content, engage with followers, and respond to comments, inquiries, and customer reviews promptly and professionally. Monitor social media conversations related to the company and leverage opportunities for engagement and brand advocacy.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:  Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.  Proven experience in social media management, with a strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.  Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  Prior experience in video production and editing is preferred.  Demonstrated experience managing and leading a team of social media professionals.  A keen understanding of cultural nuances and trends across global markets.  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.  Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and emerging platforms.  Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative social media campaigns.  Self-motivated and independent, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.  Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
