Job Responsibilities
This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be the centre of our Video Team working in our small yet growing suite, using your hands-on camera and editing skills to create and churn out engaging, high-quality videos that showcase our products and captivate audiences. This is a hands-on role where you will be thrown straight into the deep-end - proactivity and initiative is a must. You will be expected to present, argue and communicate decisions, plans and strategies. Office-based and collaborating closely with local and foreign nationals at our Zhejiang production site, near to an established town, commutable in under an hour from central Hangzhou. Key Responsibilities: ● Content Strategy: Design and implement video content strategies for e-commerce platforms like Amazon and social media channels such as TikTok and Facebook. ● Videography: Plan, shoot, and direct videos including product demos, unboxing sessions, and engaging social media clips. ● Editing: Own the post-production process, ensuring every piece of content is polished and aligned with brand standards. ● Team Leadership: Collaborate with our creative team, guiding designers and assistants to produce content that stands out. ● Platform Optimization: Customize video content for specific platforms, ensuring maximum engagement and conversions. ● Innovation: Experiment with creative ideas, producing fresh and viral content that resonates with audiences.
Job Requirements
● Camera Skills: Proven experience using professional cameras and lighting setups. ● Editing Expertise: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar. ● Hands-On Approach: A doer who isn’t afraid to be writing briefs, behind the camera or overtime in last-minute editing. ● Content Creation Experience: 2+ years creating and producing video content, preferably for e-commerce or consumer products. ● Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with optimizing video content for Amazon, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms. ● Team Player: Ability to lead and inspire a small production team while collaborating across departments. ● Creative Vision: A knack for turning ideas into compelling visual stories.
