Job Responsibilities

-Directly responsible for resolution of user issues using strong problem-solving techniques, frequent communication, and high attention to detail. -Provide outstanding customer service to GGV Capital employees in a timely manner and follow-up on issues to make sure they are resolved. Document status and findings to share with the team. -Perform day-to-day maintenance of GGV’s Information Technology and communications infrastructure, including laptops, mobile devices, videoconference, internet access, remote access, cloud-based services, servers, and network infrastructure. -Be available outside of normal business hours for urgent support and weekly team meetings as needed. -Onboard and offboard employees in a dynamic, growing team by provisioning/deprovisioning laptops and accounts across a variety of systems. -Lead various aspects of IT projects, including security-related initiatives. -Provide needs assessment for user requests, for example suggesting new devices or applications that may solve specific needs. -Self-motivated and efficient, make use of available resources to research solutions and share knowledge. -Work closely with employees and consultants across other GGV offices as an escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved locally. -Work with all departments (Investor Relations, Investment, Platform, HR, Finance, etc) to collaborate on projects that will be beneficial to the firm. -Work closely with local construction vendors as the representative of the IT Department (as a global firm, we generally build or remodel 1-2 offices per year).

Job Requirements

-College-educated with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience -Proficient in current versions of Windows, Mac OS, Office, iPhone, Android, and Zoom. -Time management skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environment. -Initiative to work independently with little oversight. -Strong people skills. Must genuinely enjoy working with people! -Get the big picture. Prioritize to execute projects and tasks in a timely manner based on dynamic priorities of the firm. -Excellent follow-through and the ability to pivot between user support, finding long- term solutions, and seeing projects through to completion. -Great team player. Collaborate with the rest of the IT team in Asia / US and all other departments. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Experience leading and executing IT projects from concept to successful completion. -Proactive and interested in bringing fresh new ideas to the team. -Fluency in both English and Mandarin/Chinese language.
