Job Responsibilities

1. Commercial contracts role carrying out a variety of commercial legal work and delivering bespoke legal advice to the business, including reviewing, drafting, negotiating and structuring of all kind of commercial contracts template;? 2. Provide legal support and advice to microfinance industry on a range of legal matters, including corporate governance, businesses operation, regulatory compliance, and financial transactions; 3. Advise on specific transactions structure, risk management, ensuring that compliance with local regulations governing microfinance and financial institutions. 4. Support cross-functional teams (including business / HQ / tech / HR / marketing colleagues) in mitigating risks related to data privacy, cybersecurity, marketing, employment and intellectual property; 5. Advise on all contentious and litigious matters.

Job Requirements

1. An in-depth understanding of the Fintech industry or demonstrable wide-ranging commercial experience. 2. Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan’s legal and regulatory framework for microfinance. 3. Excellent legal research skills, ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical, business-oriented solutions. 4. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
