Job Responsibilities

The SEVENS is looking for a Copywriter to complement our existing service team. The ideal candidate will be with PR, media or advertising background, will have good people management skills and a passion for the business.   As a copywriter, you are the great communicator. You are responsible for conceptual and executing against marketing strategies. The Copywriter is adept at writing persuasive, compelling copy that motivates and inspires the target to take a desired action. In addition to writing to various audiences, the writer is expected to craft copy for a variety of disciplines, including direct, broadcast, digital, loyalty, promotional and instructional.   Responsibilities:   1.     Collaborates within the agency; develops and presents creative concepts for assigned clients and new businesses to achieve branding and advertising initiatives   2.     Ensures the tone and style of the copy are consistent with the tone, style and guidelines of the visual   3.     Uses detailed planning and innovative thinking to establish creative and effective strategies   4.     Must have a deep understanding of a business's objectives and its audience demographics for the purpose of successfully developing and communicating the copy   5.     Responsible for translating the creative direction and copy points, set by the creative briefs, into engaging and effective concepts   6.     Responsible for writing product introductions, PR releases and other marketing related content

Job Requirements

1.     Bachelor's degree or higher; a major in communications, broadcast journalism or PR is preferred   2.     Working or living experience in an English-speaking country; native English speakers preferred   3.     Proven experience as a public relations specialist, or a similar position, preferably at an agency   4.     Experience in copywriting and editing, journalism, or interpreting is preferred   5.     Excellent oral and written communication skills   6.     A creative yet practical mind   7.     Background in technology/ consumer electronics is a plus
