Look for new process capabilities to improve the efficiency and quality Establishes him/herself as the point of contact for product improvement as well as the strategic link between sales, DE, production, quality and engineering teams in the manufacturing sites. Actively participates in defining corrective & preventive actions, and pursues active verification of such CAPA plans Align and help start PPAP, Cpk, SPC etc for processes, with use of statistical tools. Leads failure analysis and implements solutions for the true root-cause through a structural and standardized process approach. (DMAIC/6sigma) Supports electrical and mechanical ECR/ECO initiatives through risk identification and by working closely with development and DFM teams to maintain product/process quality levels. Contributes information and analysis to reduce scrap rate and improve process first pass yield
Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in a process environment. Experience in electrical component manufacturing processes, detailed experience with winding or soldering processes is considered as a distinct advantage Experience in process improvement project leading and successful achievement Solid knowledge of general quality and manufacturing processes/ techniques, (statistical) quality control programs, engineering and technology principles and practices. Strong ability to interpret and understand mechanical and electrical product documentation; Strong ability to identify process weaknesses and defines measures how to correct them; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, identifying and addressing problems, and meeting deadlines. Ability to set priorities in a fast paced development environment (High product mix & low volume) Strong business sense with an ability to drive and make sound business decisions that are typically complex and broad in nature.
