Job Responsibilities

We are recruiting an art class teacher for students aged 6. The teacher needs to be able to deliver the sessions on-site in Wujiang District, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. This is a great opportunity for someone who'd like to have more flexible working hours, who has a full-time job during the week but wants to do something on the side for extra income, or who has teaching experience and is willing to use their skills and talents to help more people! Class size: small groups of up to 10. Period: On-going Locations: Our training centre (Wujiang District, Suzhou) Weekly working hours: To be discussed Most sessions will be arranged during these time slots but can vary during school/public holidays according to actual situations: Mon-Fri 4.00 pm - 9.00 pm, Sat-Sun 9.00 am - 8.00 pm A full day break per week is guaranteed! (The break day may vary depending on the arrangements.) Duration of each session: 90 minutes Salary: To be discussed. Duties: - Deliver on-site face-to-face teaching sessions; - Assist in developing lesson plans, courses, or curriculum based on the requirements; - Set classroom rules and regulations and maintain class orders; - Communicate with all other staff members when needed; - Provide session summaries and periodic reports and attend meetings for student progress updates or other teaching-related information sharing; - All other duties related to teaching as required.

Job Requirements

Requirements: - Native/Fluent English speaker, - Passionate about teaching and have a solid knowledge of the subjects they are teaching, - Confident in helping students improve their art-creative performances at a fast pace, - Can develop short courses based on specific requirements when needed, - Can adjust lesson plans and teaching methods based on the student's level and performance in class, - Can provide additional relevant learning and practising materials to students as after-class homework if needed, - Can follow up on students' learning progress and provide reports, - Good at maintaining class orders, - Patient and assertive, - Enjoy being with kids, - Reliable and responsible, - Outgoing personality with good people skills.
