Job Responsibilities
Report to: Division Head 【Job Description】 【Teaching Management】 1.Responsible for planing, preparing, and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons in Mathematics and preferable Science aligned with school curriculum and learning standards. 2.Responsible for integrating real-world applications, critical thinking, and problem-solving strategies into lessons. 3.Responsible for creating concrete and supportive learning tools as required and delivering your program to the highest standards. 4.Responsible for creating weekly and daily lesson plans which will outline the goals, content and support resources to be undertaken in your daily work with your students. 5.Responsible for maintaining current and accurate records of classroom attendance, children's daily progress, attainment and achievement, through anecdotes, collections of children's work for portfolio and individual assessment. 6.Responsible for completing student progress reports regularly. 7.Responsible for organizing parental meetings or verbally reporting children's progress. 8.Responsible for developing and utilizing instructional materials and resources that support effective teaching and student engagement. 9.Responsible for designing, administering, and grading assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding. 10.Responsible for providing timely and constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate academic records. 11.Responsible for identifying and supporting students with diverse learning needs, including providing differentiated instruction and individual support when necessary. 12.Responsible for monitoring and reporting on student progress to parents and leadership. 13.Responsible for participating in professional learning training, parent guidance and parent consultation meetings. 14.Responsible for keeping records of violations and managing classroom Discipline according to the school's student handbook. 15.Responsible for supervising teaching assistants and interns in the class and providing specific training to make them professional. 16.Responsible for collaborating with fellow teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance interdisciplinary learning and support student development. 17.Responsible for staying current with developments in educational best practices, curriculum standards, and subject matter expertise. 18.Responsible for upholding professional conduct and adhere to school policies, procedures, and code of ethics. 【Class Management】 1. Responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. 2. Responsible for implementing effective behavior management strategies in accordance with school policies. 3. Responsible for keeping classrooms and teaching aids clean and orderly, maintain the integrity of teacher’s teaching aids and furniture and materials. 4. Responsible for resolving students' group social issues. 5. Responsible for student safety management. 6. Responsible for cooperating with and participating in school staff meetings, class work meetings, parent meetings and professional training. 【Others】 1. Responsible for the data collection and achieving of all the above tasks. 2. Participate in the performance appraisal and personal evaluation organized by the teaching department. 3. Responsible for taking on additional responsibilities, such as: playground duty, lunch duty. 4. Complete other tasks assigned by the leader.
Job Requirements
【Qualifications】 1. Educational Background: Master’s degree or above 2. Work Experience: At least 5 years’ teaching experience in high school 3. Professional Background: Majors in mathematics, science or education are preferred, and relevant AP/IB teaching certificates or AP/IB teaching experience are required; 4. Language requirements: Excellent English teaching and communication skills, English Native Speaker. 5. Skills Requirements: Proficient in operating Office software (proficient in Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) 6.
