Job Responsibilities

Seeking a Service Engineer with a passion for technical excellence and a readiness to relocate to Hangzhou, China. In this role, you'll be instrumental in installing and commissioning flat glass processing machines, traveling extensively to customer sites worldwide. Key Responsibilities: 1) Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and testing of flat glass processing machines in accordance with company standards and client requirements; 2) Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers during the installation and commissioning process to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance of the equipment; 3) Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical, electrical, or technical issues that may arise during installation or commissioning, collaborating with the engineering team as needed; 4) Offer training sessions to customers on the operation, maintenance, and safety protocols of the installed machinery; 5) Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have regarding the equipment or its operation; 6) Document installation and commissioning procedures, including equipment configurations, troubleshooting steps, and customer feedback, to facilitate continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the organization; 7) Coordinate closely with project managers and sales teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

1) Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 2) At least 2 years of proven experience in on-site installation and commissioning of industrial machinery, preferably within the flat glass processing or similar industry. 3) Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. 4) Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques. 5) Experience and understanding of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems. 6) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. 7) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. 8) Commitment to upholding safety standards and protocols in all aspects of job performance. 9) English language proficiency at least equivalent to B2 level, both written and verbal.
