Job Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for daily management of Salary.com’s digital channels. This role is an integral part of our Digital Marketing group. In this role, you will work with the Director of Digital Marketing to help plan, implement, monitor, optimize, analyze, and report on all digital channel efforts. You will work on key initiatives including effective implementation of SEO strategies across all Salary.com web properties and content. You’ll also gather and analyze marketing data across channels, help to identify the most significant areas for conversion improvements, and work cross-functionally to implement strategies to capitalize on these opportunities with other members of the organization. Core Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing to manage digital channels against KPIs and report on performance Design and execute A/B testing and landing page and website optimizations to align with development plans for the website Stay on top of keyword research and make both structural and keyword recommendations to maximize SEO across all web properties and content Proactively communicate with peers and leadership on plans, progress, and problems Identify opportunities for applying new technologies, digital products and services to online campaigns Help execute social media marketing and reporting
Job Requirements
Basic Qualification: Required Education and Experience: 4 years bachelor’s degree with MBA (Marketing Management preferred) 0-1 years of experience in digital marketing or related field (SEO/PPC, email campaigns, and managing website experience preferred) Required Knowledge and Skills: Exceptional analytical skills and experience in reporting and data analysis to extract meaningful insights and present recommended actions; experience with statistical analysis is a plus Preferred Qualification: Proficient knowledge of Excel (knowledge of pivot tables a plus); HTML5/CSS3 experience is a plus, as well as knowledge of the technical aspects of SEO Strong understanding of digital marketing and its role within the demand generation function Experience managing PPC campaigns through Google AdWords or other advertising solutions Outstanding verbal and written communication skills when working with teammates who may be either data-driven or more qualitative Detail-oriented, persistent, and curious Ability and desire to learn quickly and troubleshoot problems Ability to work independently while also functioning and contributing as part of a team Strong ability to present digital marketing concepts and receive feedback
