A highly effective and dynamic classroom/workshop teacher, with a genuine commitment to put students first. To develop curriculum subject in STEAM by PBL teaching methodology. It includes but not limited to robotics, Scratch/Python coding, creative maker...etc. courses in Science and Innovation. To design lessons that fulfill the teaching objectives to improve students' knowledges, skills and competencies, by various method of classroom/workshop projects. To do regular performance assessment and analyze personalized growth plan for students.
Bachelor degree or above, subject in science, technology, engineering, programming, robotics ...or relevant subjects. Native or non-native English speakers. American, Canadian, British, Australian, New Zealanders, South African, European...etc. 2 years or above teaching and curriculum developing experience, preferably with children and young adolescents. Be familiar with teaching and interaction, with clear, lively, joyful expressive, for 3 ~ 15 years old students. Good and experienced in monitoring student performance during classes. Experience in teaching IB Design Technology is highly preferred, but not a must. TESOL or TEFL certified would be a plus A passion for fostering STEAM skills and creating an attractive learning environment A good communicator within the team and to parents and other stakeholders Candidates must already be in China.
