Job Responsibilities

School Locations: Luzhou, Sichuan, China Type of Position at School: Preschool and Kindergarten English Teacher Student Ages: 2 to 6 Class size: 20 maximum Contract Length: 12 months Weekly Hours: 30 hours / week Teaching Hours: 10-15 hours / week Monthly Salary: 18000 CNY Accommodation: Free and Provided (Fully furnished apartment within 5 minutes from school) Insurance: Life Insurance provided with a 10000 CNY yearly reimbursement Contract Completion Bonus: 10000 CNY Airfare Allowance: 8000 CNY Holidays: National holidays plus summer and winter vacation plus optional 10 work days for Christmas Work Permit: Z-visa and work permit provided, cost reimbursed by the school upon arrival Training: Provided upon arrival plus development training throughout the year by the Program Manager.

Job Requirements

Nationality: USA, England, Australia, Ireland, South Africa, Canada, or New Zealand Education: Have at a minimum a 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in any field Other: Passport with a minimum of 1 year validity remaining. Have no criminal activity record in any country. Be able to fund their own airplane ticket to get to Luzhou, China and Chinese visa fee. (The visa fee will be reimbursed on first day of teaching in Luzhou. The airplane ticket is given back as a bonus at the end of the year in the form of an airfare allowance.) Other considerations for the position are:  Work Experience with Kindergartners or Preschoolers.  ESL training or certificates from related courses.  Volunteer Experience with children such as summer camps or after school programs.
