Job Responsibilities
The Creative Director is responsible for the design and creation of visual assets for all Promate branded materials including: Packaging design, webpages, , sales collateral, trade show materials, internal and external presentations, swag, banner ads, and anything that needs to follow the Promate’s brand guidelines. As a key member of the marketing team, the Creative Director will own website conversion rate optimization, Promate's visual language and iconography for marketing, and the development of our new brand guidelines. Must have a strong vision for creating optimal web experiences and journeys, and will influence and contribute directly to site conversion and the success of business-critical campaigns. Responsibilities: · Building a creative environment for the creative team to work in and overseeing ideas and projects · Taking responsibility for the creative philosophy and the standard of creative output across the department · Developing ideas for advertising or promotional campaigns · Pitching concepts to clients if you work at an agency, or presenting to directors if you work in-house · Overseeing several projects from start to finish, keeping to deadlines, and signing off on these projects before they are presented · Liaising with Marketing team to keep them informed and to highlight any issues · Understanding the commercial aspects of the Company or marketing department · Hiring and managing the creative team. · Own the packaging design · Work with Product team - especially on interaction with externally-facing design elements · Own all elements of Promate’s marketing design and brand aesthetics, ensuring they align with the Product brand. · Support Marketing and Product Marketing in creation of all marketing and promotional material: webpages, landing pages, nurturing emails, customer facing emails, Social Media content design, logos, trade show booths, case studies, slide decks, company swag, corporate branding and images · Lead creative critiques and brainstorming sessions to develop original design

Required Skills and Experience: · Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to inspire the creative team to give their best · Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills to make utstanding proposals · Plenty of creative ideas and an understanding of the company’s vision · Strong sketching skills to represent the ideas · An awareness of current trends in advertising and design · Fluency across graphic design, typography, photography and illustration · Expertise in Adobe Creative and iWork suites. · Strong photographic sensibility · Self-starter with excellent time and priority management skills. · Resilience under pressure and against deadlines · Knowledge of the software and applications involved in the creative process · Proven ability to take ownership of features and assess the requirements, lead others in execution. · Experience and passion for creating and leading the online (Digital) editorial design products · Strong ability to lead strategic discussions with senior stakeholders · Strategic rigor to create decision-making across platforms and products · Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines · Skills in managing people, projects and resources. · Top-notch design chops as demonstrated by portfolio work · Strong educational background in a design or art-related field · Communicating complex ideas through world-class design that works across all media · Expert knowledge of everything Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign are must-haves; After Effects a plus), Sketch, PowerPoint · Solid understanding of how design elements can help solve business goals and challenges · Solid presentation skills; comfortable with explaining the connection between project requirements and proposed design solutions to project stakeholders · Experience with video, photography, and web animation a plus! · Experience in the tech industry is a plus · Build relationships and gain insight from people across the wider organization.
