•Studied the hydrometallurgy plant process on copper production to comprehend nearly in its entirety its function and objectives. •Trained in the water treatment method at the environmental workshop in the hydrometallurgy plant to ensure the understanding of the factory’s functionality. •Assisted, in conjunction with a coworkers’ group (as an international support), in the enlargement of a dilute sulfuric acid solution pool aiming to supply 100% of the leaching agent into an expanded heap leaching area. •Controlled the High Density Sludge (HDS) process keeping parameters inside the standard and equipment in their right functioning. The former allowed the plant meeting emission limits for heavy metals and pH in the final effluent.

•Studied the P&ID of water injection and of an extraction facility establishing a more secure and accurate operation on both processes. •Supervised and maintained pipelines, pressure gauges, and pumps for a 24/7 water-injection operation allowing the normality of the procedure. •Executed the discharge of well water into pools for further injection into the well. •Elaborated mass balance reports on a daily basis to account the entering material in its entirety. •Coached, trained, and lead a team (of about 10 operators) into the accurate operation of an extraction facility ensuring almost 100% of the production process. •Supervised on a daily basis the reading of gauges, levels, temperature, for the right functioning of an extraction facility.
