Head of Engineering Analysis Department to perform multidisciplinary analysis and simulation to verify the design requirements. Defining and refining product and sub-components specifications to develop functional baseline and product architecture/baseline for preliminary and detailed design phases. Responsible for effective utilization and maintenance of High performance computer cluster (HPC) for multidisciplinary design and analysis by design team To prepare project proposals including costing scheduling and financial phasing of product development projects To validate and verify the multidisciplinary analysis performed during design and development phase Develop tools to perform analysis more succinctly and in less time ( automate analysis process through script programming languages like APDL, python and Matlab) Computational Modeling and Simulation To ensure that manufacturability, maintenance and life cycle constraints are well addressed during detailed design phase; and generated detail drawings have appropriate GD&T specified for prototype and batch development To prepare and deliver project updates in form of reports and presentations to higher management and customer To train newly inducted engineers on CAE and CAD modeling tools building an effective design and development team
To perform multidisciplinary analysis (Flight dynamics, FSI, CFD, structural and thermal analysis) to assess the product design Computational modeling and simulation To refine product and sub-assemblies specifications To generate detail assembly and part drawings for manufacturing and liaison with manufacturing for prototype development and design refinement to circumvent manufacturing issues. Finalization of Quality and Acceptance testing procedures, along with process sheets and processing documentation To analyze non-conforming components and parts during manufacturing for usability and to minimize component / part rejection To prepare reports and presentation regarding the assigned projects to higher management
