Job Responsibilities

1、 Factory Schedule o Coordinated with factory Master Scheduler for the overall schedule of projects flowing through the Shanghai factory. o Accountable for communicating the factory schedule to external teams outside of Shanghai. o Negotiate with Sales and customer facing Project Management teams to determine optimum factory schedule, for both winning new orders and fulfilling previous commitments, balancing the perspectives of our customers, our stakeholders across Daktronics, and our company objectives. o Manage all project scheduling escalations and clearly communicate to all stakeholders. 2、 Support our teams for Winning Orders o Provide sales teams around the world with key information for new opportunities such as schedule feasibility of design and manufacturing activities. o Work closely with sales team members to provide technical support and guidance for solutions that optimize the factory schedule. 3、Manage Projects through the Shanghai Factory o Coordinate all relevant details throughout the lifecycle of each project with the respective customer facing Project Management team. o Lead the coordination and communication of project details with key stakeholder teams supporting the Shanghai Factory. o Coordinate with Engineering teams to ensure design activities and schedules are met. o Coordinate with Manufacturing teams to ensure procurement and production activities are aligned with project requirements across all orders. 4、Manage project delivery o When Final Acceptance Testing (FATs) are required by the customer, oversee the FAT activities with customers and internal stakeholders within the Shanghai factory. o Work with Logistics team to successfully transport and import products into their final destinations per agreed schedules. Accountable for overall success of projects until they have reached final destinations. 5、General Activities o Track and manage costs on projects (products, services, etc) in comparison to original estimates. o Upon project completion, provide analysis and feedback to engineering, manufacturing, logistics, project teams and management to support continuous improvement. 6、Prepare reports, estimates, schedules, presentations, etc. and share with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. o Proactively recognize and address gaps in all aspects of project flow. o Perform other duties as assigned and needed to meet stakeholder expectations 7、Overall Behaviors o Effectively capture knowledge and filter and communicate relevant information to key stakeholders. o Successfully adapt communications with multiple different perspectives and audiences. o Collaborate effectively as a team member; work with little supervision; help when and where needed; provide suggestions for process improvement. o Demonstrate self-motivation and excellent organization to plan, execute, and document work. o Confidently and appropriately exercise discretion and independent judgment. o Demonstrate composure in all situations. o Build positive and effective relationships with all Daktronics team members.

Job Requirements

Requirements: 1、Education and Experience o Education: Bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required. Preferred disciplines include Project Management, Project Coordination, Scheduling, Construction Management, or Business. Other technical areas of study will be considered. o At least two years of Project Management experience preferred. o Experience leading others in a project environment. o Experience communicating and collaborating with global teams. 2、Skills and Abilities o Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English skill is a requirement. Ability to read, write, and speak Chinese (Mandarin) is highly valued. o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. This includes being skilled in communicating during presentations and interpersonal interactions. o Ability to work flexible hours to communicate with teams in different time zones. o Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management software. 3、Ability to travel on occasion as needs arise. o Must be eligible to obtain the appropriate visas to travel. o Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver’s license and good driving record are required. 4、Background check may be conducted. 5、Must be legally able to work in China at time of hire. Foreign nationals will be considered, with possible ‘local plus’ package support.
