Job Responsibilities

Partake in research strategies and lead our Antibody Discovery Department to build and advance early therapeutic antibody discovery pipeline.Partner with Discovery Biology Department, supervise cross-functional teams ( in vitro biology, in vivo biology, DMPK, and development group) to advance the antibody discovery to PCC (preclinical candidate).Provide technical expertise including antibody design (monoclonal antibodies and bi-specifics, tri-specifics, fragments thereof) and lead optimization (affinity enhancement, Fc engineering for effector function and half-life etc).Demonstrate excellence consistent with Hengrui’s core values, including leading with science, attracting and retaining top key talent critical to business success, and developing team members.

Job Requirements

Ph.D. and post-doctoral studies in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, Protein Engineering or related field.15+ years industry antibody discovery experience in engineering antibodies and bi-specific antibodies and their optimization and development for therapeutic application.Excellent organizational and communication skills, demonstrated ability to perform as a leader.Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a matrix environment under timelines are preferred.Self-motivated, curious, independent and eager to learn.
