Job Responsibilities
Strategic Market Development: Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve company objectives in Australia, particularly in Sydney and Melbourne, with a strong emphasis on the mining and transport sectors. Lead Generation and Opportunity Identification: Utilize market research, networking, and targeted outreach to identify and pursue business opportunities within mining, transport, logistics, and systems sectors. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and partners, understanding their unique challenges within the mining and transport industries, and positioning our solutions effectively. Deal Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and customer-centric strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, coordinating across departments to deliver exceptional service to clients in mining and transport sectors. Industry and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics within the mining and transport industries in Australia to refine business strategy and seize market opportunities. Presentations and Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to clients and partners, clearly conveying technical and business value propositions within the mining and transport sectors. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adapting strategies as needed to maintain alignment with target goals.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the Australian market or APAC region. Experience in the mining and transport sectors is highly preferred. Industry Background: Familiarity with IT solutions and industry experience in mining, logistics, transport, or systems is essential. Client Management Skills: Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with clients and partners, demonstrating strategic influence and problem-solving skills. Negotiation and Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a record of achieving sales targets and successfully closing complex deals. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging both internal and external stakeholders. Adaptability and Initiative: Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment, with an innovative approach to market challenges and opportunities.
