Job Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE: Support Accounting Manager on sales to countries in the Asia Pacific region. The successful candidate’s main responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurate invoicing to the seven main customers in that region. The role will also involve other Accounts Receivable duties such as credit control and payment allocation. In addition, this role will work closely to ensure accurate and timely recognition of direct costs and overheads. The role will also require working with Sales and Logistics departments of other subsidiaries. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The role will work on 7 regional companies across the Asia Pacific region: China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Japan, Taiwan & Korea - Collect and verification all necessary documents required for billing in each country - Issue Fapiao in SAGE and VAT invoice - Issue Credit note in SAGE and both VAT red invoice if necessary - Prepare the payments for each company - Collect money from customers and allocate payments - Bank reconciliation - Liaise with external accountants in each country - Others tasks assigned by the Accounting Manager
Job Requirements
CORE COMPETENCIES: - Experience of working in Accounts Receivable is a must - Some experience of working in Accounts payable is desirable - Ability to work with the a diverse range of people, at all levels of the company - Self-motivated - Proactive - Good written and verbal English language skills, as this is the company Language of our company - Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel - Experience of using SAGE 300 is desirable - Studying towards an accountancy qualification - Experience in accounting with a distribution/manufacturing company is a plus
