Job Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE: The Logistic executive role is responsible to organize product collection from various factory locations in DG China to HK for distribution to customer globally. This role needs to work closely with China planning, freight forwarders and UK ops team for on time delivery fulfilment. They will also assist the 3PL warehouse management, inventory control and SOP process review on regular basis as to achieve logistic efficiency within the organization. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Shipping Arrangement - Point-to-point shipping arrangement for worldwide customers, fulfilling transit time and special service requirement by working with nominated forwarders - Providing accurate customs paperwork and shipping instruction for cross border arrangement by weekly basis - Ensure all shipping data is archived correctly, and prepare item level shipment tracker for every single delivery - Handling shipping documents and customs declarations, special follow up with all DDP shipment - Manage shipment discrepancy with relevant team, follow up replenishment to customers if necessary - KPI review with nominated forwarders to ensure objectives conform to standard - Inventory control in HK warehouse, updating stock report for any stock in/out - Analyze forecast data for 3PL warehouse, coordinate with nominated forwarders for next quarter shipping volume Logistics Invoicing - Reviewing all Logistics invoices within 48 hours of receipt against master data, monthly quotes, etc. Submit approval to UK Account team for payment process - Report to Logistics Manager with explanation for any incorrect invoices - Coordinate with forwarders account team by getting monthly statement for cross check before finance monthly cut-off Operating Procedures - Work closely with Sales Operation team to ensure the accuracy of shipping document and system data are in line with customer requirement - Coordinate with planning team and factories to ensure weekly delivery match with Open order book - Provide Proof of delivery to Sales Operation team within 48 hours after goods delivered - Ensure all shipment should be arranged within 5 working days lead-time, achieve the standard of team objectives - All Shipping and customs paperwork are filed correctly, ensure all old data is archived after year end cut-off
Job Requirements
CORE COMPETENCIES: - Solid experience gained from 3PL warehousing management preferred. - Professional experience of shipping / operations support experiences in Trading business / freight forwarders - Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up and organization skills - Intermediate Excel Skills - Good standard of written and oral communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese - F.7 or above, Diploma / Degree in the related discipline preferred
