Job Responsibilities

I. Highlights: Job location: a university in Fuzhou, the capital city in Fujian province Contract length (3 options):  (less than) 1 academic year: from the date of onboard in year 2019 to June 2020  (less than) 3 academic years: from the date of onboard in year 2019 to June 2022  (less than) 5 academic years: from the date of onboard in year 2019 to June 2024 Semester arrangement: September – December, February - June Teaching hours: 16 classes per week and 45 minutes per class Responsibilities: teaching courses including, but not limited to, Spoken English, Intercultural Communication, and Academic Reading and Writing at both undergraduate and graduate levels. II. Benefits and compensations:  Monthly salary: RMB 10,000 Winter and summer vacations in the contract period are fully paid.  Free furnished apartment: an ESL teacher is entitled to an on-campus twin-bedroom apartment complete with all necessary household appliances and fast broadband Internet connection. Or, RMB 20,000 per complete academic year for housing if you rent an apartment outside  International travel allowance after one complete academic year contract completion: RMB 10,000  Work permit and visa sponsored  Health insurance provided

Job Requirements

 Education background 1) Bachelor degree majoring in English / linguistics / Education, OR 2) With two years of teaching experiences, OR 3) Holding a TESOL / TEFL / CELTA certificate  Nationality: native English speakers preferred (see further clarifications at the end of this JD)  Age: Less than 55 years old  Qualified for work visa application, such as no criminal record  Have the ability and willingness to adapt to Chinese culture and life  Obey the Chinese laws and regulations
