Job Responsibilities

Our clothing design and manufacturing company is seeking a self-motivated, experienced, highly organized Production Manager to join our team. We need you to create and maintain effective policies and procedures to ensure that our partner factories operate at peak efficiency. Ideally, you have worked in clothing manufacturing industry in China and are able to have a dialog with the factories in their language, with deep understanding of their production processes, pain points and potential problems and risks; you don’t mind investing time and energy in working with teams and factories to constantly improve our output. Responsibilities: • Manage and evaluate company’s factory resources to ensure productivity, quality and profitability • Oversee a workforce of employees in the Merchandising and Quality Control department and coordinate their work with factories • Establish and frequently review workflow policies to enhance manufacturing speed and efficiency without compromising product quality and integrity • Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines • Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel and manufacturing partners • Provide motivation, support and guidance to factories • Communicate problems and risks to Management, propose solutions • Establish and maintain production schedules • Provide regular status reports and capacity plan updates to Management and Merchandising departments

Job Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in manufacturing operations • 2+ years' experience in a management or supervisory capacity • Bachelor's degree or above • Background in clothing industry • Excellent project management skills • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills • Ability to mentor employees on best manufacturing management practices • Self-directed, motivated, flexible, able to adapt to quick change and work under tight deadlines • Capable of managing disputes with factories • Strong reporting skills • Fluent Mandarin
