Shanghai Xing Wei College is the first private, non-profit, liberal-arts college in modern, mainland China. We strive to offer an education that is unique. Combining our three-word motto—Freedom, Passion, Conscience—with an emphasis on learning by doing, we endeavor to cultivate the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of students in a supportive and highly engaged mentoring environment. We are currently seeking to hire two native English-speaking faculty members to join our community and contribute to its development. We are particularly interested in anyone specializing in any area of the humanities (e.g., arts, history, literature, music, etc.) and business with a willingness to teach medium-level courses in English speaking, writing, and listening at the college level. A PhD is required upon highering. Compensation is very competitive. Per China visa requirements, candidates/applicants must be 55 or younger.
