A Robotics Engineer, used to living and working in cross-cultural environments. After studying subjects ranging from mechanics and electronics to programming and robotics, I gained one year of experience working in the Automotive Industry before joining Balyo as a Field Engineer. I now carry out installations of autonomous mobile robots which move pallets at our clients' warehouses and factories. As a French who grew up in the Netherlands, who then chose to live 1 year in Germany, 1 year in England and 1 year in China, and now traveling in EMEA with Balyo, I possess a diverse international experience. Always actively learning a language, I am currently studying Chinese.

Installing mobile robots for the logistics industry, autonomously moving pallets (pallet stackers, VNAs, reach trucks): • Traveled to 14 different clients across Hungary, Finland, Germany, France, Singapore and China • Act as the first point of contact for the client on site • Install multiple types of robot, which includes map, circuit, pick/drop configuration, interfaces with clients' systems (doors, conveyors, WMS, etc) • Develop custom features to satisfy clients' specific needs • Optimize trajectories, computer vision, traffic management, task scheduling and embedded software to achieve better pallet throughput • Deal with various unexpected issues arising on site • Send feedback from the field and contribute to improving the software, tools, documentation and processes

Volkswagen Project: (5 months) • Review and correct Simulink models of AUTOSAR Software Components (SWCs) created by Volkswagen • Transfer SWCs models from Simulink to Ansys SCADE Architect and Ansys SCADE Suite following Volkswagen guidelines • Write the interface and functional documentation of the SWCs in DOORS • Set up the first communication and cooperation tool with the Volkswagen team for open points, traceability, and progress monitoring Internal Project: (7 months) • Developed software with the agile SCRUM methodology for driver assistance (ADAS) systems • Improved a computer vision system for road lane detection with Python and OpenCV, expanding its use to any type of road and increasing its accuracy on highways from 72% to 88% • Researched and documented the state-of-the-art deep learning solutions for lane detection. The output format was praised by colleagues and served as inspiration for their own documentation
