After intensive language study in Shanghai and Hong Kong, I recently obtained my master’s degree in Chinese Culture at HKUST and am an emerging translator (Mandarin-to-English) based in Hong Kong. My work has been published in the Association for Chinese Animation Studies and is pending publication in Renditions. Through my experience living in Australia, the United States, mainland China, and Hong Kong, I have developed broad cultural awareness and a deep understanding of English usage across a variety of locals and contexts.
Work with professors, young published authors, and with literature out of the public domain translating and submitting academic writing and literature for publication. My work has been published by the Association for Chinese Animation Studies and is forthcoming in Renditions.
Started as an entry level employee and earned several promotions based on strong work ethic and good results for online marketing company.
Studied Chinese literature, history, philosophy, art, and translation. My professors and classmates were all Chinese, and many of the courses were taught and assessed in Mandarin. Recipient of the Dean's Award.
