Job Responsibilities
HR Foundation & Local Setup Support the setup of local HR infrastructure during the company’s early-stage operations in Brazil. Build and maintain key operational records including social security (INSS), labor union registration, benefits and recruitment trackers. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Develop and manage local recruitment channels (job boards, agencies, networks). Lead recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth experience for new hires. Build efficient hiring and offer processes that comply with Brazil’s labor market practices. Employee Relations & Labor Compliance Ensure all HR practices comply with Brazilian labor law (CLT) and other relevant local regulations (e.g., union rules, working time, dismissal procedures). Collaborate with legal/compliance teams to create and update employee handbooks and company policies. Manage conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and termination processes professionally and lawfully. Compensation & Benefits Assist in designing and administering competitive, localized compensation structures. Manage employee benefits programs including healthcare, transportation vouchers (Vale Transporte), meal/food cards (Vale Refei??o/Alimenta??o), and others. Support local tax declarations and payroll processes in partnership with outsourced providers or internal finance. HRIS & Administrative Operations Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems; ensure data privacy and compliance. Manage basic office HR administration such as time tracking, leave management, and office supplies allocation. Assist in developing hybrid/remote work policies, if applicable, and ensure compliance with employment law in remote work settings. Culture & Employee Engagement Promote company culture locally through engagement programs and team-building activities. Plan and execute employee events (e.g., onboarding sessions, holiday celebrations, recognition programs). Other Responsibilities Handle ad hoc HR tasks or projects assigned by global HR or local management. Act as a business partner to managers, offering advice on team structure, talent retention, and workforce planning.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of relevant HR experience in Brazil, preferably in multinational companies or fast-growing environments. Solid understanding of Brazilian labor law and local HR best practices. Proficient in Portuguese and Chinese (spoken and written), English is puls Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
