Job Responsibilities
Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to Class-A standards and PQ requirements while maintaining the key characteristics of the Design. Implementing quality control measures throughout the development process. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance productivity and optimize resource utilization. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and suppliers to facilitate seamless operations and effective problem-solving. Monitoring: Track and analyze status on part level, flag critical items. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on development, quality issues, and improvement initiatives to senior management. Project Management: Utilize project management skills to coordinate input and output between design and engineering teams. Lead project teams (internal or external) as necessary. Task Planning: Create detailed task and resource plans when required (LEAD). Issue Management: Escalate issues to the next level as necessary (LEAD). Presentations: Prepare CAS presentations to a predefined standard. Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education: Degree or equivalent in Automotive/Industrial Design or Engineering. Language Skills: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Experience: 7+ years of experience in a role within the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of Class-A standards. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading project teams and managing cross-functional projects. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and continuous improvement methodologies. Project Management: Strong project management skills with proven experience in leading project teams and projects. Interpersonal Skills: Self-confidence and professionalism in collaborating with colleagues and partners. Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information to diverse audiences. Work Ethic: Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Time Management: Ability to deliver under tight time constraints. Responsibility: Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Proficiency: Familiarity with Autodesk Alias, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
