Job Responsibilities

- Responsible for software field project management to ensure software development progress and quality - Lead cross-functional teams located primarily in China and across the global on key new software product development efforts for the diabetes Markets - Organize R&D for customer needs analysis and technical feasibility assessment - Develop software domain development plan according to master project plan - Plan, coordinate and track project activities - Define project resource requirements and negotiate team assignments with functional managers and external vendors - Develop and monitor risk mitigations plans - Risk and progress control to ensure business and project objectives are met - Organize major software problems’ trouble shooting - Regularly report and update the software status to the program manager - Organize and summarize the software field’s lesson learn - Support outside contract/supply agreement contract development and vendor management - Challenge functional groups to meet project goals and commitments - Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills - Ability to balance customer, manufacturing, and business requirements to expedite launch of the right product to market - Ability to work independently (self-directed) - Experience in successfully collaborating with functional departments is a plus (e.g. Legal, Regulatory, Operations, Procurement, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Marketing, Quality, etc.) - Ability to effectively handle conflict through proactive action, and direct and timely communication - Attention to detail and experience to check behind the scenes to ensure surprises are minimized - Experience in managing teams with a diverse cultural background - Sets the standard for timeliness, work ethic, and personal integrity - Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills - Strong Microsoft Project skills - Ensure that the Project Design History File is current and accurate and manage documentation and communication needs for the project, ensuring all regulatory standards are met (e.g. project SharePoint). - Support Core Team meetings by preparing the agenda, project updates, taking meeting minutes. - Manage issues and risks by monitoring known risks and preparing mitigation plans for each of these risks.

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree or above on computer science, or related professional; Proficient in certain development language such as C/C++, Java, software development experience for 2 years or above; Familiar with software engineering development process Good oral and written English skill, CET 6 Proficient in certain development language such as C/C++, Java. Project management skills. Effective planning and organization skills including the proven ability to work against multiple objectives simultaneously. Prepare audience specific reports and communications. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products including MS Outlook and Project. Translate communicated ideas into robust project plans. Detail oriented. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain a trusted role with the various stakeholders in coordinating multiple functions across the organization. Work independently and collaboratively across functions. Preference will be given to candidates with a successful track record of managing at least two software related product introductions from concept to launch Medical Device Project Development Experience a very strong plus Action Oriented Process Management Building Effective Teams Customer Focus Fluent in English; Fluent in Mandarin (when teams include Chinese Nationals)
