Job Responsibilities

Working Location: San Luis Potosí, Mexico Responsible for implement preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities to maintain the Robots of the injection machinery in optimal working conditions in equipment and installations to support Maintenance team and equipment of the manufacture and production activities. Responsibilities 1. Implement preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities for robots, injection moulding machines, installations in injection equipment. 2. Perform Preventive maintenance to the robots, conveyors, flaming devices, etc. 3. Solving problems with robot programs and robot failures. 4. Participate in the daily, weekly meetings. 5. Implement autonomous maintenance (1st level) in the robots and IMM. 6. Implement maintenance procedures for preventive, corrective and predictive activities for robots in the injection area. 7. Provide recommendations for application equipment improvements to enhance performance and reduce cost or for updates to the system verification manuals and troubleshooting methods. 8. Accomplish of the Safety procedures (HSE). 9. Accomplish of the quality system. 10. Establish and monitor performance metrics and measurements related to individuals, teams, processes, and projects. 11. Utilize effective communication or negotiation skills, employing diplomacy and sensitivity to resolve critical or escalated issues affecting the customer, staff management.

Job Requirements

1. Knowledge/experience in Robotics, servo motors ac/dc, servo drivers, automated equipment with PLC’s, sensors, automated injection process, conveyors system, dosed systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, valves, pumps. Software Ecoscreen 3D onsite, IndraWorks. Industrial Networking SERCOS, Profinet, Profibus, TCP/IP. 2. Preventive and corrective maintenance to robots and injection moulding machines. 3. Ability to read/create Technical Drawings, Specifications and schedule of maintenance routines. 4. Strong problem solving skills and understanding of the Scientific Method. 5. Knowledge of manufacturing tools as Kaizen, SMED, TPM, 5´s. 6. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Words, Power Point). 7. Previous Ergonomics Knowledge/Experience. 8. Commitment to meet the goals of the plant. 9. Program robot skills. 10. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Words, Power Point). 11. Excellent communication and team work. 12. English speaking/writing/Reading at 60%. 13. Spanish (desired). Qualifications: 1. Nationality: German, American. 2. TSU or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Automation Engineering or related field. 3. Minimum of 2 years or up of experience as Robots ABB, Kuka, linear robots (Sepro, Wittmann, Engel) for IMM technician in the automotive industry.
