Job Responsibilities

Working Location: San Luis Potosí, Mexico 1) On-offline programming of robots. 2) Defines and create paths programming directly in accordance with applications rules for development (new parts). 3) Sets the paint application parameters in accordance with customer’s specifications. 4) Ensures the necessary commissioning with the plant and equipment supplier (for new paint line start up) to reach expected quality and performance levels. 5) Support Plants in optimization/ performance improvement projects, path programming transfer and quality of application optimization. Responsibilities: 1. Respects and follow safety rules (plants, personal protective equipment). 2. Ensures the set-up of robots and paint application equipment in the paint shop, for all possible paint applications, in accordance with standards and best practices. 3. Works with plan staff and Paint Process Engineers to achieve quality requirements (color matching, levelling, adhesion). 4. Creates and improves paint application parameters (paint consumption, cycle time). 5. Puts in place sustainable solutions for paint applications in cooperation with plant technical team and with the projects paint engineers. 6. Makes proposal of continuous improvements during development and eventually during serial production, according to projects or plant requirements. 7. Ensures support for control plans updates, process stability follow up with plant technical team. 8. Under the control of the paint process engineer, decides if results are in line or not with specifications, in case of disagreement proposes a road map to reach performance specifications. 9. Based on results and analyses of main defects, looks root causes of defects and build a plan for continuous improvement of paint application. 10. Ensures reparation an implementation of action plans as part of continuous improvement. 11. Working together with Quality Dept. ensure paint programming marches quality level requested by the customer. 12. Follows up the planning on each project. 13. Creates digitalization of new robot cell for programming definition. 14. Ensures the commissioning for the robotics part for new paint line.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 1. Nationality: German, American or Chinese. 2. Completed training in technician or graduated in electrical engineering. 3. Experience and familiarity of industrial robots ABB (IRC5P) (is a must). 4. Advance knowledge in Robot Studio & Shop Floor (is a must). 5. Advance knowledge in PLC knowledge (is a must).
