Job Responsibilities
The identification, selection, relationship management and capture of new and repeat business opportunities for the delivery of project management services and achievement of sales revenue with the assigned BU in the assigned area. - Identify, develop and secure business opportunities for the respective business; generate qualified leads to meet BD Executive KPIs and to support BD Manager in meeting BU budgets. Follow up leads, assist BD Manager, Project Management Director and to submit proposals and win projects. - Understand Colliers PjM’s capability, have good sense of customer demand, and then work with operations and BD team to develop project management solution for customers; deliver effective presentations to maintain customer attention, leave a powerful impression and to manage their expectations with the aim of building Colliers PjM’s trustworthy professional image. - Identify and develop potential clients and client relationships by attracting, retaining and enhancing the relationship through proactive CRM to form a base of committed clients. - Establish and develop BD channels; Assess the effectiveness of channels and ensure that efforts are focused on using the appropriate channels for the agreed BU targets, whether they are in terms of secured income or strategic development. - Assist Project Management Director and BD Manager to develop business plans, strategies and BD materials in line with customer requirements, including proposals, responses to RFP’s, pre-qualifications, tender documents, presentations, charts, project sheets, slides, reports, CVs etc. as required. - Organize and/or support the Project Management Director in promotional activities to build Colliers PjM’s company brand and enhance sales growth with assigned BU; these activities include seminars, workshops, conferences, industry fairs etc. - Proactively participate in periodic BD meetings as required from time to time to ensure common approaches across teams / offices, liaison and coordination with others in the company in respect of active clients and opportunities, adoption.
Job Requirements
Skills & Experience - Marketing, business development or business related major. Engineering or construction related training is highly encouraged. - 0-3 years’ working experience in business development or a related sector. Sales or marketing background/experience preferable. - Full professional use of English, knowledge of other languages is suggested. - High degree of computer literacy in all aspects of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Access, Excel and PowerPoint. - Proven team player who can also work on own initiative to plan and manage own workload. - Business understanding is beneficial.
