Job Responsibilities

The role of the English A Teacher: • This is a full-time position for a teacher to teach English Language & Literature and English B. • The teacher will be teaching both Language & Literature and Language Acquisition classes in both the IB Diploma Programme and the Middle Years Programme. • The teacher will also serve as Extended Essay supervisor, Personal Project supervisor, and CAS project supervisor as needed. • The teacher will work collaboratively with the other members of the English Language Department to plan and implement the Language Policy of the school. • The teacher will complete the necessary and ongoing professional development requirements needed to teach their subject at both the DP and MYP level.

Job Requirements

Requirements: • Bachelor of Education or higher, with related major. • Hold a valid teaching license from a state licensing board or Education Department. • Minimum 2 years’ verifiable subject teaching experience in K-12 school. • Fluency in English speaking and writing
