Job Responsibilities
Planning, preparing and delivering lessons; Assigning, correcting and marking work; Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment and behavior of students; Promoting the general progress and wellbeing of students; Providing guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers; Working with other members of the school staff and parents/guardians to ensure the best interest of students; Reviewing and evaluating one’s own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies in line with WLSA curriculum framework guidelines; Participating in-house training program and contributing to the professional development program of school; Maintaining good order and discipline amongst students under one’s care and safeguarding their health and safety at all times; Nurturing a culture where teachers view themselves essentially as facilitators of learning and reflective practitioners. For A Level English candidate, the big plus if experience of teaching IGCSE ESL/EFL or IGCSE English literature
Job Requirements
Native English speakers with at least bachelor's degree in literature, linguistics or English Minimum two years teaching experiences Passion in education and be capable of motivating students and helping shape their futures TESOL, CELTA, or TEFL certificate with practicum or teaching license / certifications Ability to work well on a team with others Ability to differentiate implementation of curriculum
