Job Responsibilities

Planning, preparing and delivering lessons;  Assigning, correcting and marking work;  Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment and behavior of students;  Promoting the general progress and wellbeing of students;  Providing guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers;  Working with other members of the school staff and parents/guardians to ensure the best interest of students;  Reviewing and evaluating one’s own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies in line with WLSA curriculum framework guidelines;  Participating in-house training program and contributing to the professional development program of school;  Maintaining good order and discipline amongst students under one’s care and safeguarding their health and safety at all times;  Nurturing a culture where teachers view themselves essentially as facilitators of learning and reflective practitioners.  For A Level English candidate, the big plus if experience of teaching IGCSE ESL/EFL or IGCSE English literature

Job Requirements

Native English speakers with at least bachelor's degree in literature, linguistics or English  Minimum two years teaching experiences  Passion in education and be capable of motivating students and helping shape their futures  TESOL, CELTA, or TEFL certificate with practicum or teaching license / certifications  Ability to work well on a team with others  Ability to differentiate implementation of curriculum
