As a Yodo1 Global Marketing Specialist you'll play a key role in representing and creating the international brand awareness for the company. Here's what you'll do day to day • Manage and monitor our social media channels: Analyze social media performance, stay on top of innovative best practices and identify strategic opportunities for audience growth. Inspire and encourage colleagues to interact on and create unique content for game developers, gamers and business partners. • Write and publish impactful articles: Source information from exclusive internal and external partners, fine-tune your wording and see the direct results of your work: Influence the gaming industry and leave your footprint in the world of mobile gaming. • Bring to life a holistic brand message: Plan out and keep an overview of overall marketing actions and channels. Ensure that the company brand message is consistent on all fronts representing our mission and values. • Create and manage the all-company website: Ideate and implement innovative designs, track website performance and make critical decisions on content and company representation to the world. Understand and support our product lines to gleam in the sunshine. • Support and represent Yodo1 in event organization and sponsorship: Become an expert on current gaming industry events such as conferences, webinars and podcasts, negotiate with organizers, create supportive marketing materials and represent our company in speeches and other opportunities.
Here's what we're looking for • Bachelor degree or above in marketing, international business, journalism or any related field - in other words you are analytical and detail-minded and have a firm understanding of basic marketing principals, concepts and tools and know how to use them. • 1-3 years working experience in global marketing with an international media audience - You can independently conduct market research, create flawless international social media content, keep up with current market trends and treasure a holistic overview over the business direction. • Full English proficiency with very high quality written English with conversational Chinese as a plus - You can independently author and create impeccable, complex marketing materials in English and preferably also communicate reliably in Chinese across departments. • Expertise in MS Office. Additionally, any experience in using marketing software (Mail-chimp, sprout social, buffer, Hoot-suite), Website Management such as WordPress, Graphic Design, Video Editing are all big plus. - You are able and excited about letting your ideas and creativity professionally come to life in the digital world. • A deeply ingrained familiarity with the gaming industry, ideally gaming or internet industry working experience - You can quickly grasp a deep understanding of our products and services, connect the dots and draw on rich personal creative resources.
