Job Responsibilities

This position will be located in Vietnam. 1.Plan, organize, and coordinate the quality activities for the assigned Bissell product manufacturing locations. Work collaboratively with cross-functional product development teams, manufacturing partners and key suppliers to determine product engagement including PFMEA, Quality Plan, WI, inspection requirement etc. Ensure that all new or revised components or products use the Bissell PPAP process to document the approval of their introduction or revision with supplier sites. Conduct final Inspection as necessary. 2.Trains the Process Auditor in manufacture site on job responsibilities. Reviews all new drawings and specifications with the staff to ensure mutual understanding of the requirements. Ensures that the Process Auditor is capable of training the Inspector. 3.Reviews and monitors engineering change after mass production and make sure the change implemented effectively. 4. Ensures ABR and Reliability Testing well conducted as the approved schedule and follow the issues found. 5. Handles customer complaint and ensures that BPR’s are issued for all significant complaints and drive corrective and preventive actions. 6. Conducts Tier-1 supplier and key tier-2 supplier assessment and verify processes are being followed and old issues have been resolved. Brings along the Process Auditor on the initial assessment for training purposes. 7. Drives the continuous improvement with Bissell internal team and tier-1 and tier -2 suppliers. • Performs all other related duties as necessary.

Job Requirements

1.Bachelor’s degree above. Major in mechanical, electrical, electronic, plastics, or automation. 2. At least 5 years of experience as quality engineer including supplier quality, manufacturing quality and customer quality for electro-mechanical products or white goods. 3.ISO and other quality system knowledge, good at FMEA, QP, PPAP, SPC, MSE and other quality tools, have strong problem-solving skills. 4. Good in written and spoken English. 5. Strong computer skills with a firm understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 6. Demonstrated team-building skills in an environment of managing through influence and persuasion. 7. Self-discipline, working independently and responsibility sense, ability to work under pressure. 8. Must be willing to spend 30% (or more as needed) of work hours on repetitive pre-shipment audit/inspection. Willing to travel oversea. PREFERRED • Quality certifications, e.g. ASQ CQE, CQA, Sigma BB is a plus. • Background in injection molding/electronics. • Experience with supplier assessment audits. • Familiarity with UL1017 or similar agency requirements
