Job Responsibilities
1. Lead the cross-border investment process, from origination and sourcing to evaluation, proposal/presentation, negotiation, due-diligence, execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring and management. 2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including institutional investors and portfolio company executives. 3. Act as a mentor to the investment team, guiding their professional development and ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic goals. 4. Work with third-party professionals to perform the necessary risk assessments and reports. 5. Contribute to the firm’s broader strategic initiatives, such as identifying new investment opportunities and setting long-term goals for the firm’s portfolio. 6. Work closely with portfolio companies to drive growth and operational improvements, ensuring the success of our investments. 7. Cooperate with fundraising, communicate with investors, report to the management, strengthen necessary government visibility and support, etc.;
Job Requirements
1. A minimum of 8 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, or a related field, with a strong track record in semiconductor industry investments. 2. Strong leadership track record, and capable to manage an international team. Experience in managing and executing multiple deals simultaneously. 3. A deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, with a strong network of contacts and resources. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. 5. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related discipline. MBA and/or finance-related master’s degree is preferred. 6. Bilingual proficiency in both English and Chinese; 7. Ability to travel frequently, including international trips
