Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement long-term business strategies, including market expansion, product development, and revenue growth plans. Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the pharmaceutical industry. Use market insights to make informed business decisions. Sales and Marketing: Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies. Monitor sales performance, track market share, and identify opportunities for growth. Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the product lifecycle, including new product launches, product discontinuations, and portfolio optimization. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products and operations comply with relevant local and international regulations and quality standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between different departments, including research and development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and distribution, to streamline processes and achieve operational efficiency. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's reputation and financial stability. Distributor Management: Manage relationships with distributors to ensure a good network of sales and understanding of the markets. Market Expansion: Explore opportunities for expanding the company's market presence, which may include entering new geographic regions or forming strategic partnerships. Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, progress towards strategic goals, and areas needing attention.

Job Requirements

Strong proficiency in English and German, knowledge in Mandarin would be a plus. Ideally based in any major city in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. Bachelor's degree in biology, oncology diagnostics, or a related field. A master's degree is often preferred. At least 5+ years of experience in oncology diagnostics industry roles, with a proven track record of leadership and business management. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, compliance, and quality standards. In-depth knowledge of the precision medicine market and familiarity with local regulations for companion diagnostics (CDx). Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams and external stakeholders. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel and industry-specific software. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly evolving industry.
