Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities • Assist an effective auditing processes as instructed by the senior staff • Travel to the client’s premises and obtain the Audit financial statements and assess accounts • Inspect internal systems and controls • Assess risk management tactics • Report systematic errors or fraud indicators • Investigate specific issues regulatory bodies bring forward • Help the senior staff with ad hoc duties • Provide translation services from Chinese to English Requirements • experience as an External Audit assistant or higher position • Experience in data analysis and financial reporting • Knowledge of external auditing practices and relevant regulations (e.g. • Knowledge of accounting standards • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English • Sound judgement and decision-making ability • Strong organizational skills • Keen attention to detail • Must be available to travel to various client locations with the Australian audit staff during the audit engagements • This is a short-term assignment though future opportunity for the right candidate • Must be available to start immediately • Travel and accommodation provided

An Australian based Accounting and Auditing firm is looking for an External audit assistant to provide assistant and translation services to the senior audit staff to scrutinize the financial statements of organizations and report on their financial positions. Shareholders will depend on your evaluations to make informed decisions.
