Responsibilities: 1. Conduct competitive research on global mid- and plus-size clothing brands, with a focus on relative product positioning; 2. Obtain user feedback on aspects of product fit, style, design, and more -- and effectively relay feedback to internal Product, Design, and Fit teams; 3. Create systems and processes for accurately and effectively obtaining and deploying product feedback, at scale; 4. Product discovery: you'll be expected to have your finger on the pulse of global fashion trends, spotting areas of opportunity for the plus size market -- whether that's a product category, specific trending aesthetic, or other creative ideas; 5. Assist in curating, managing, and growing BloomChic's customer communities; This is a highly dynamic, crosss-functional, and critical leadership role in a fast-growing startup, reporting to our Chief Product Officer. The right candidate will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as we grow.
Requirements: 1. Ability to learn quickly, with deep critical thinking skills 2. Relationship builder - you'll be speaking with customers on a daily basis 3. Ability to deeply empathize with customers: we're ideally looking for someone with an interest in fashion and a strong personal understanding of the plus-size customer's experience with fashion. 4. This position is based out of our Guangzhou, China product development offices. A work permit may be provided for the right candidate.
