Job Responsibilities
• Assist the Club Manager to oversee and direct all aspects of the Club InterContinental service operations. • Assist the Club Manager to coordinate of any guests’ needs, special requests, and inquiries to ensure superior service and value for our guests. • Set buffet breakfast, Happy Hour and inspect the quality of food. At InterContinental Hotels & Resorts® we want our guests to feel special, cosmopolitan and In the Know which means we need you to: • Be charming by being approachable, having confidence and showing respect. • Stay in the moment by understanding and anticipating guests’ needs, being attentive and taking ownership of getting things done. • Make it memorable by being knowledgeable, sharing stories and showing your style to create moments that make people feel special. • Contribute to overall operational efficiency by performing relevant duties as assigned. • Provide exceptional Concierge information to our guests about local and area attractions, restaurants, theatres, special events, tickets, confirmations and other available services. • Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure InterContinental Ambassador Loyalty. • Tracking and forecasting daily, weekly and monthly Club InterContinental occupancy. • Ensure that all InterContinental Loyalty members and Club InterContinental guests are pre-registered a day before arrival. • Check the daily arrival list. Attend to meet guests’ interests and special request. • Inspect the room and ensure the room is ready before guest arrival. Ensure all amenities are in room prior to guest arrival. • Meet up with VIP and other guests’ arriving and escort the guests to their room or to the Club InterContinental. • Performs check-in/check-out for InterContinental Loyalty members and Club InterContinental guests. • Personally handle guest’s needs and complaints and follow through accordingly. • Control the supply requirement and beverage inventory; Check the working environment of the department. Finish attendance on time according to the duty roster. • Set up the buffet Breakfast, Happy Hour and inspect the food quality to ensure all food provided meet the standard. • Consistently seeking ideas for enhancing the Club InterContinental product and services. • Strong and effective communications with all other departments, highlighting Club InterContinental area to ensure the proper level of service to our guests. • Involvement with training, development and performance management of all Club InterContinental colleagues. • Directs and supervise the staff to complete the work and tasks assigned on time.
Job Requirements
• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. • Good knowledge on Front Office and well familiar with Club Intercontinental operation. • Good supervisory, organize and problem solving skill. • Good communication and writing skills. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Front Office System Qualifications – • Diploma in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or equivalent Experience – • 2 years’ experience in concierge or related discipline,or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
