Established almost 20 years ago, Karrex Ltd is a Hong Kong-based company with offices, warehousing, and manufacturing located in Guandong province. Karrex owns several brands that focus on the Vinyl LP market and is currently shifting its focus from B2B to online B2C sales, targeting regions such as the EU and USA where it already has significant traction. In addition to the Vinyl LP market, Karrex also stocks a number of DVD kits and other media-related products. Karrex Ltd is an expanding but a relatively small company that is looking to grow it's B2B business whilst also promoting its own line of branded products through digital marketing channels and e-commerce platforms. With almost 20 years of trading experience in China, the company has already supplied major retailers in the EU, USA, and Australia and is looking for a candidate to grow and establish new B2B partnerships within a variety of industries with the primary focus being the vinyl LP market.
The ideal candidate will need to be able to think outside of the box and have a comprehensive understanding of e-commerce and B2B distribution channels. Some knowledge of Chinese e-commerce would also be advantageous but is not a requirement for this role. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and can manage their own time with the ability to set realistic monthly targets that are in-line with the companies overall objectives. On top of the generous base salary, there is also commission available, with competitive bonuses available for the successful candidate. A track record of generating revenue in a similar role preferably in China would be advantageous along with some experience of sales and/or business development. However, if you have the right attitude and desire to succeed then we are open to negotiation. As a small company, it is important you are a team player, as you will answer directly to the British founder of the company and support the digital marketing manager in growing online sales. This is a full-time position, located in Tian He, Guangzhou. Our office is conveniently located above the South China University MTR station (exit C), which is less than 10mins away from the center of Guangzhou (Zhujiang New Town). Day to day duties will include but are not limited to: Researching new markets and identifying key players. Establishing new client relationships for long and short term strategic partnerships. Maintaining and expanding current B2B relationships. Creating and maintaining the company CRM system. Providing feedback to the digital marketing manager on potential e-commerce channels and data collection that can aid in better customer targeting. Identifying existing products on the market that could complement or expand the companies current range. Targeting online influencers, with the goal of having them review or promote products, on their respective platforms would be advantageous but is not a requirement. Candidate Requirements: The suitable candidate should possess the following: Experience of using CRM systems. A can-do attitude Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills. The ability to strike a report with customers and build meaningful relationships with clients. Experience in B2B sales. Experience in B2C sales would also be advantageous. Highly motivated. Flexible to working different hours in order to accommodate overseas client's schedules. Native English speaker. A creative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and identify opportunities outside of the companies current scope. A bachelor's degree in business or marketing would be advantageous although candidates with bachelor degree's in other fields will also be considered. However, in order to get a Chinese working visa, you will have to have a bachelor's degree to be considered for this role. This role would be ideal for someone looking to continue to build their career in sales and business development.
