Job Responsibilities

This talent get to play the role of a serial entrepreneur as the General Manager of our Japan business. Report to CEO He/She should be the mastermind behind the brand vision and commercial strategy in Japan businees to support global expansion. He/She will oversee all stages of business development, especially for Marketing & Bran ding activities cooperate with main client and sales growth . He/She will also be responsible for hiring and on-boarding the founding team so as to set up Japan business to scale successfully. This role will be required for: * Be responsible for all areas of the business activities in Japan, including, marketing cooperation with main local brand, product development of localization, successfully execute our vision as the early stage GM * Work alongside senior internal and external stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary experts to build strong connection alongside our corporate partners, in highly accelerated timelines. * Champion the brand vision and MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible * Define the business model and investment case in Japan, developing key performance and monitoring frameworks to measure outcomes and progress towards brand-market-fit * Own the delivery of the business model, go-to-market strategy, and commercial launch in a lean, agile, and iterative manner * Act as the voice of the customer and main client to HQ in thedefinition of innovative digital solutions as well as ensure the use of best practices in the development delivery of these solutions * Outline key team roles and responsibilities across work streams for the next stage of Japan business * Identify and strengthen required partnerships where needed to ensure business success in Japan market * Facilitate the build and testing of operational processes, systems and reporting capabilities when nessesary * Inspire, lead and coach team members, developing their careers and capabilities with goal-based structured mentoring How to Apply: Please submit your latest resume as a single attachment and send it to Karen: Email: karen.zhang@hiredchina.com WhatsApp: (+86) 17503088771 WeChat:hiredchina107 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/karenzhangxd/

Job Requirements

He/She should have: * Demonstrated experience building and launching successful new brand into Japan from 0-1; as a founding team member or Marketing chief e.g. COO or CMO * Relevant experience influencing and managing senior stakeholders working in corporate environments, for instance in professional services or client-facing settings. * Holistic understanding of all aspects required to bring a product and business to market, including market analysis, MVP and product-market fit, positioning, go-to-market, pricing, testing, iterating based on feedback, legals, operations and finance etc * Proven track record in not only building and hiring multidisciplinary teams from the ground up, but in bringing them together to create a strong, cohesive and collaborative team culture * Well-versed in weighing competing priorities, managing trade￾offs and evaluating new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities * Thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually-demanding and service-oriented environment * Strong and structured communication skills with excellent analytical and problem-solving ability * The ability to think critically, creatively, strategically and resourcefully * A diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition Additional desired competencies: * Experience as a founder and/or as a founding member of early stage startup teams * Curiosity and interest in a wide range of technologies and industry domains
