Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven Deputy General Manager to work directly with the General Manager in running all aspects of our client’s Asian office. This includes responsibility for strategic planning, Asia budget, purchase goals, and all activities to grow the business. In addition, the Deputy General Manager will be directly required to support all functions in driving business growth and meeting goals, including Human Resources, Quality, Supply Chain & Logistics, product development, Purchasing, Project Management, IT and Accounting. Close cooperation with major operational areas of the Group Members is required for success.  Oversee the day-today operations, short- and long-term business & project plans  Deputize for the General Manager (GM) in managing the organization ensuring highquality business activities with maximum quality, service, and profitability for theorganization.  Develop and move strategy to grow profitability and meet financial goals.  Work with GM to establish, drive and achieve strategic goals and objectives  Work with GM to maintain overall organization responsibility performing any requiredduties in relation to compliance, legal/statutory regulations, responsibilities, and obligations  Support GM to manage, motivate and train employees to create a positive, skilled, and professional team  Support Purchase Manager to analyze and drive purchase and gross margin in accordance with the strategic plan  Working alongside HR and Quality drive the advancement and development of the quality management system and company polices to ensure both quality and HR standards are met or exceeded  Work with Supply Chain Manager and SCM team to maintain and develop supplier relationship to maximize supply chain and logistics benefits for the entire Group and minimize products and shipping costs  Support Human Resource activities including but not limited to hiring, terminating, training, performance reviews, job descriptions, compensation reviews and legal issues.  Provide timely reports to GM on daily/monthly operations, including but not limited to analysis of finance, sales, SCM and Quality.  Constantly improving the ability of processes and functions to act quickly and flexibly to adapt the offer of all cooperating brands to the demand of the different customers in Europe.

Job Requirements

 Excellent communication and presentation skills  Able to identify and resolve problems, work well independently or as part of a team, and work well under pressure  Strong work ethic, a familiarity with budgeting and a keen understanding of industry- specific terminology, rules, and regulations.  Impeccable leadership and managing skills  Master’s degree in Commercial Business-related field or equivalent  Extensive management experience  Direct experience working within a management role China  Desired direct Experience in the IOT World  Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team.  Demonstrated leadership abilities  intercultural and international leadership style  Flexibility to travel internationally  Fluent in both German and English (Written and Spoken)
